Compare Louver Sizes
- The louver size will determine the number of louvers in a panel, which affects the amount of view-through as shown below.
- 2½" louvers are ideal for smaller windows.
- 3½" louvers are a pleasing standard, and the most popular louver size.
- 4½" louvers provide a more expansive view.
- Louver spacing is fixed, so rail heights vary from 35 ⁄ 8" to 57 ⁄ 8" depending on the panel height and louver size. The top and bottom rails in a panel will be of equal height. Note the variable rail heights in the images.
